Ali McLachlan
Ali McLachlan works closely with Barry King and serves as General Secretary of Grace Baptist Partnership Scotland. Sent with oversight and support from Trinity Baptist Church, Dundee, Ali is currently leading a church plant in Edinburgh. He also trains men and assists other churches where he is able.
Born in a Scottish family and raised in England, he came to faith in Christ as a 12 year old and has served Christ ever since. He and his lovely wife Caroline married in 1991. He trained at the Ministry Training Institute near London then served as a church-planting missionary in the Middle East.
On returning to the UK, Ali pastored Baptist churches in Liverpool and in Southwest Scotland. His present work involves him in growing leaders, planting churches and stirring up a missionary vision for ‘once-Christian’ Scotland. He has spoken widely on outreach, training and mission in the UK and elsewhere.
God has blessed the McLachlan family and they expect their fifth child soon. Below they are pictured with elders of their church in Dundee. Together they seek the planting, rebuilding and growth of biblical churches across this beautiful nation.
